Privacy notice
This describes what this software does with the information you give us. The organisation responsible will publish its full legal notice here; nothing below will contradict it.
What we collect
Your name, the phone number or email address you give us, your ZIP code, whether you told us you have Medicare or Medicaid, how you heard about us, and the message you wrote. If you text or call us, we keep those messages and the fact of the call.
Why we collect it
To answer you, to help with a housing or benefits application, and to keep the records we are required to keep.
How it is stored
Your name, phone number, email address and the text of your messages are encrypted before they are written to our database. Staff see them only through this application, and every time a member of staff opens a record it is logged.
Text messages
We only text you if you asked us to, or if you texted us first. You can reply STOP at any time and we will stop. We record when you agreed and exactly what you agreed to. We do not text between 9 pm and 8 am in your local time.
If someone referred you
If another person or organisation submitted your details, we will not text or call you until you contact us yourself. Their referral is not your permission.
How long we keep it
Ten years. Some of the programmes we help with require records to be kept that long, and we apply the longest requirement to everything rather than running several different clocks.
Automated tools
We use software that helps our staff draft replies. A person reviews and sends every message. No decision about you — whether you qualify for anything, or how quickly we respond — is made by software.
Questions
Call or write to us and ask. Contact details, the identity of the organisation responsible for your data, and how to make a complaint are being confirmed and will be published here.
